  This activity provides good scientific background materials, visuals, and data (with graphs) but needs significant instructional support before it can be used in the classroom. It is part of a larger informational website on Energy.
• About the Science
  The written text and graphic focus on energy production regionally and worldwide, and yearly data between the years 1971-2018 can be compared. Students can use the dropdown menu to look at worldwide data or a particular country, and this pie chart illustrates the percentage of each energy source used in that particular country. A line graph also shows the amount of energy production over time. Data is up to date and from a credible source. Comments from expert scientist: The activity provided accurate scientific information and the data provided is credible.
